Highlighting new attractions of Gujarat trip, Ajith Kumar, tourist officer, Gujarat Tourism Department, said “after Covid impact, state’s tourism department is having extra caution. As a result, other new projects like seaplane ride and others are receiving huge response from public. And very soon, Statue of Unity will become a global destination.”
“Soon after booking opened for the seaplane services, Only in single day, around 3000 booking requests are being received, it is receiving huge response,” he added.
He was addressing a seminar organized by Gujarat Tourism at a hotel in Indore.

Chairman- Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) M.P and C.G chapter, said “ now people are stepping out and looking for new tourist destinations inside the country. After COVID impact, domestic tourist places are getting momentum as compare to international one.
